'Why do things have to turn out the way they do?'
There're many reasons really.
I think for the thing we were talking about (let's refer to this as Case 119), its probably because its so hard to forget someone who've loved. Not that it isn't possible, just difficult. Particularly if the person was the first you've ever loved in that way. Its like taking drugs. You can't cure yourself of it by placing it within your grasp. And more often than not, once its in front of you precious few don't yield to that kind of temptation.
Which brings me back to my original point like 50 posts ago... Life is not always about love. Loving is not about the love. Loving is about serving the other person, not being selfish (taken from the Bible, no one dispute me :P ).
Maybe its because we humans, in particular us teenagers, have that rebellious streak in us that make us gravitate to the very things that we know are harmful. I honestly used to Pah and Pooh at all those books that talk about rebellious teenagers and angst and hormones. And then i experienced everything for myself and, upon the realisation that what they said was perfectly true, came out feeling very dazed and shellshocked. Still living though, but with an awareness of things that brings the phrase 'wide-eyed' to mind O.O.
Told you i grew up :P
And maybe its because we live in such a kinky world. Just go on youtube. Search for Beethoven Sonata Op.2 and what dyou get? Exactly that... along with videos labelled 'Great Oral Sex for Men'. How Beethoven and Oral Sex are related, i don't quite know but there you have it. The search for something often gives you an entire cocktail of results, and you have to sieve through them to find which is the genuine one that you seek; to find out which one is the pineapple that you want. And sometimes you get sidetracked. You think of trying the logan, you're thinking of sampling that floating chunk of ice, you tell yourself maybe its worth taking another bite of that just so you're sure what it is. Maybe what you really want to hear is the loud, satisfactory crunch before everything disintegrates.
Its just personal preference. Its about choice. Its about who you are or will be.
p.s. The definition of kinky, as according to Carol's Dictionary of Random Words: something full of surprise and somewhat unexpected, rather like Boing's hair. Contrary to popular belief, there are no innuendos whatsoever.
