i'm feeling grumpy today. i think i read too much of McCourt and all the american-Irish gore of his miserable life is starting to get to me. anyways. about the emo people. ok you know what there's no emo people and no grumpy me, i just thought of something pretty fascinating. DOn't you think that the world and how you view it is just exactly that? the world before you, and how you view it. That's all. The world doesn't change very much. its just the way you look at it. All the same yet vastly different. and have you noticed how much people swear in books? there's a Goddamit at the end of every sentence, followed by a "if you excuse the language". Of course i excuse the language, the book won a pulitzer prize, and i aint gonna turn my nose up on it just cos... new Thought. English Literature essay on Teacher Man. ...' i feel that McCourt's style of writing is full of originality and humour that would make an irishman howl if he's ever sober enough to get around to reading, and i quote, "Goddamit" (Pg.46, line 13) if such talent were to go unnoticed...' It's a shame we don't read McCourt at IB. the amount of quoting i would do... sorrry new Thought. i just thought of cheryl going Goshdamit. wouldn't that make your day :P so back to the emo people. CHEER UP! TReASURE LIFE, TREASURE TIME AND HAVE A NICE DAY! you know how people say don't live in the past? well don't live in the future either. live each day like your last blah blah blah blah blah. oh and cheryl. have a safe trip! don't forget the M&Ms, thai M&Ms taste different :P (no they don't actually taste different. That was a JOkE. i wouldn't be surprised if the M&Ms in Penang had "Made in Thailand" stamped on every last one of them lol.) oh movie on wednesday. i hope. Hurrah! Singapore on 25th. HALLELUJAH. skating. and skating. and skating. new rink. more skating. more skating. i'm so glad i live in pasir ris. why, if i'm not living for the future myself ;)
